Some of the medical advancements that happened during WWII involved medicine, vaccines, surgery, skin grafts, and blood transfusions.
AntibioticsSome of the medicine that came out during WWII are Penicillin, Streptomycin, and sulfanilamide. Penicillin is an antibiotic that kills bacteria. Streptomycin is an antibiotic that helps treat TB and kills bacteria. Sulfanilamide is an antibiotic that treats yeast infections and kills bacteria.

Vaccines
Some of the vaccines that came out during WWII are the Influenza Vaccine, Smallpox Vaccine, and Yellow Fever Vaccine. The Influenza Vaccine immunizes certain strands of the Influenza Virus. The Smallpox Vaccine helps immunize certain strands of the Smallpox Virus. The Yellow Fever Vaccine helps immunize certain Strands of the Yellow Fever.

Some of the other medical advancements during WWII are surgery, skin grafts, and blood transfusions. The advancement with surgery made it safer, and is cheaper. Skin grafts replace skin from one place on the body to another place.
